I am a passionate painter, originally from Kiel on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Germany, living in the South of France since 2004.

After graduating from high school in Germany with a major in Arts I started oil painting in l'Atelier d'Aix in France in 2005.

First I painted for myself, to develop and explore my very own creativity, and then I also started accompanying children groups.

Painting is much more than a way of expression to me, it leads to setting free ideas and emotions. I'm deliberately leaving space for chance in my paintings: once the colors are  chosen and on the canvas, I'm using paint or texture to add details I will apply with precision but which are evolving until the painting is finished.

Finding inspiration in nature and in particular in movements and lights observed, I mainly work with oil paint on various materials: Paper, Canvas, Wood. I'm working in my own studio in Saint-Cannat (close to Aix-en-Provence)​, France, since 2022.

Née en 1985 à Kiel en Allemagne, j’ai quitté la mer Baltique en 2004 pour m’installer en France où j’ai développé ma créativité artistique et ma technique en peinture à l’huile à l’Atelier d’Aix de 2005 à 2018, d’abord en tant qu’élève puis en accompagnatrice de groupes d’enfants.

Plus qu’une forme d’expression, la peinture est pour moi libératrice d’idées et d’émotions. J’y laisse la place à une part de hasard voulue. Une fois les couleurs posées, des petits détails viennent s’ajouter, en peinture ou en texture, appliqués avec précision mais évoluant tout au long du processus de création de mes tableaux.

Je puise mon inspiration dans la nature, en particulier les mouvements et les lumières observés et je travaille principalement avec de la peinture à l'huile sur matériaux divers : papier, toile, bois. Depuis 2022, je suis installée dans mon propre Atelier à Saint-Cannat près d’Aix-en-Provence.
